Description

Very rare unusual size nickel plated showcase fully functional with mirror back. Found in PNW. Excelsior Showcase Works nickel display case originating from the early 20th century. The case frame shows nickel and wood construction with a mirror set into the back. It features four panes of glass; one on the top, one on each side, and a curved one across the front. The front of the piece shows a nickel plaque reading "Excelsior Showcase Works Quincy, ILL. Branch House St. Louis." engraved across the front. The back of the piece shows a latch and two hinges on a drop down panel allowing access to the interior. The display case shows good condition overall with wear indicative of age. The display case measures 20 1/2" long by 23 1/4" wide and 11 1/4" tall.
