Founded in 1911 and still operated by the same family, W.A. Benjamin Electric Company manufactures quality electrical distribution equipment.

"W.A." started producing lighting and power panelboards in a barn shop in Los Angeles. These panels typically consisted of knife switches, fuses and copper bus bars mounted on sheets of marble or slate that were assembled on iron angle frames. His customers varied from the Los Angeles Board of Education to the Los Angeles Telephone Company. Through the years W. A. Benjamin Electric Company has been involved in the manufacture of products such as fire alarm boxes, stage lighting dimmer controls and switchboards for many different applications.

The company has grown from its humble beginnings to larger facilities that produce the finest quality power distribution equipment available. This high level of quality is consistently produced due to the high level of pride and craftsmanship within our entire organization. Many of our employees were here during "the good old day's"; and have been a part of the technological growth that has brought us to where we are today. Our list of clients include those that we started with, though they have since changed their names, along with many others who have the common desire to purchase the highest quality available, realizing that this quality translates into an exponential value.
