a true original French advertising poster , acquired in FRANCE in the 1960’s.  Made popular in 1950 during a French Perrier campaign

Hervé Morvan (1917–1980) was a French poster artist and designer who became well-known for his advertising poster for Perrier in 1950 & drew increasing attention from his following works for Vittel, Evian, Danone, and Esso. Many of his posters / work was known to include humorous & happy characters.

Perrier was first introduced to Britain during 1863 by local doctor Louis Perrier who bought the spring in 1898 and operated a commercial spa as well as also bottled the water for sale.
