Up for sale is this gorgeous vintage antique 18/19C oval miniature hand painted portrait of Royal Lady, Madame Elizabeth, signed. Bronze gilt frame under glass. Madame Elizabeth, tragic younger sister of King Louis XVI, last member of the family to be guillotined, and canonised by the Catholic church. It is after an original by Vigee Lebrun, court painter to Marie Antoinet.
