An excellent example of a Navajo rug from the Crystal Trading Post, which was founded by J.B. Moore in 1896. Moore encouraged the Navajo to incorporate classic features from Oriental rugs — such as borders and central motifs — into their designs. This green, brown, and faded red rug includes charming water bug shapes. It is mounted on a wooden panel, and is purported to have been owned by Dolly Parton.
