A solid walnut pair of pilaster carvings / corbels . In architecture, a corbel is a structural piece of stone, wood or metal jutting from a wall with the purpose to hold a large amount of weight. This beautiful pair of corbels are hand carved and from the mid to late 18th century. These pieces, retain their original finish.
