 Circa 1920s rare brass jewellers lamp by Lyhne. Height adjustable from 12" - 14".

Antique American industrial pressed and folded iron and brass "Lyhne" portable desk or table lamp manufactured by the beers sales co., Bridgeport, ct. Originally designed and patented by Anker S. Lyhne in 1911. The c. 1911-17 portable lamp contains a weighted cast iron base with deeply embossed underside lettering. The rotating arm joint retains the original dial handle.
